Primary focus: improve form, build strength, & learn how to generate power to develop swing & hitting power
Patrick Currin will coach the baseball training and the strength/power component will be led by Tony Minor. Coach Tony is a former Catcher & Quarterback that specializes in arm care & rotational power. New to the Triangle area from Upstate New York, his passion for helping youth athletes expands their abilities inside & outside the lines.
The camp meets for a 2.5-hr Sunday session beginning December 1st and extends for 4 weeks, concluding on December 22nd.
Each Sunday afternoon session will have 1 hour of baseball and 1 hour of strength/power with group warmup. Athletes will be assigned to groups based on their age and strength training experience and will be given work to do at home to complement the Sunday sessions with midweek coach-led virtual sessions.
Hitting Skills:
-individual swing mechanics
-exit velocities
-drop 3 acclamation for age-appropriate players
Stength Skills:
-rotational power
-single leg stability
-injury prevention through total body fluidity
Cost: $160
Training Dates: Dec 1, 8, 15, & 22 (Suns 1230pm-3pm & 230pm-5pm)
*midweek virtual sessions for accountability & form check building from in-person training sessions*
Sessions are small group so please register early. Additional session times will be formed if classes fill up.
